dear new york, i love you. no, seriously, i do.
our trip was so much fun. when sam and i first got there, we just explored. we went up to soho and hopped on a subway. i don't even know where we got off, we just picked a spot. over the course of 4 days, we saw times square (day & night), the 9/11 memorial, wallstreet & the new york stock exchange, madison ave, washington square park, nyu, walked the brooklyn bridge, biked the perimeter of central park, went to the MOMA and took a ferry to liberty and ellis island.
we ate korean bbq, cuban, sushi, mexican brunch, and italian/austrian something-or-other on a rooftop. and don't get me started on the bakeries or cupcake shops. it was all sinfully good.
i loved getting lost, having no idea which direction the subway was going, being constantly run into on the sidewalk, hearing everyone speak in a different language, and getting yelled at by the cashier at Bagels on the Square because i couldn't remember what kind of cream cheese i ordered. does that sound sarcastic? it's not. i loved it. i loved every second. i can definitely picture myself living there in a few years.
i'll post photos in a few days, but for now here's a 3 minute video of our long weekend.

VERY COOL!!! Awesome video. That captures the feeling of being in NYC. It's such a cool place and watching the video brought me back. I need to live there.
